Thanks to the lady who shared her umbrella =)

As I left for work this morning, I thought I would be safe from the rain, at least througout the journey from MRT --> Office --> client's place. And I was wrong.

The moment I stepped out from the escalator, I was greeted with raindrops forming a big curtain blinds hanging from the sky... But I did not have the luxury to wait until the rain stop as it might take forever. With a newspaper over my head, I walked as fast as possible to cross the un-sheltered street.

Not lucky enough to cross the second street, I stood under a nearby small tree waiting for the traffic light, hoping to minimize the exposure to the rain.

And at this moment, a lady standing beside me approached me and asked if I wish to share her umbrella! I was so grateful for her kindness and I did not know how else I can show her my appreciation, besides keep saying "Thank you" to her.

We were heading to the same direction, and we both reached our destination and she left with a smile. Despite the cold and wet rainy weather, my heart is warm.

No matter how insignificant, as all the kindness is great and goes a long way.

圆月

原本乌云密布的天空，以为今天又看不见月亮娘娘了。怎知道，在回家的路途中，隐约看见一个熟悉的发亮物体，在云后探出头。

繁忙（盲）的生活，搞得人人忧心忡忡的经济风暴，人与人之间的不信任，平静似乎是一种奢侈。

望着月亮静静的，日复一日的尽其本分（又是谁说月亮是为谁而亮呢？），有了一丝安慰。

祈望人人团团圆圆，安康快乐。

Catch up

Fong Sim was in Singapore for visit (and shopping) so we arranged for a meet up.

Called Ang Li, Wan Lin and Sze San but Wan Lin was busy and Sze San was not in SG, so in the end only Fong Sim, Ang Li and I met up. Initial plan was to meet in Vivo at 7.30 pm, after that we changed to 8.30pm.

"Wei, shi wei, can meet in City Hall mrt instead?"
"What you guys plan to eat there?"
"I also not sure, we see how first. See you."

In the end, Ang Li and Fong Sim met up first and they went shopping and I only reached at 9.30 due to some last minute thing... Fong Sim bought a pair of Charles & Keith shoes as their shoes back in hometown is UNREASONABLY EXPENSIVE!!!

As most of the shops has closed by the time I reached (feel damn paiseh), we settled for cuppa at Coffee & Toast and talk and talk about anything and everything =)
